Prof. Yanke Tang

Biography:
Yanke Tang holds a Ph.D. in astrophysics from the Yunnan Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and is a visiting scholar at Yale University. He is a professor at the College of Physics and Electronic Information at Dezhou University and currently serves as the director of the Scientific and Technological Office at Dezhou University. He is also an adjunct doctoral supervisor at Qufu Normal University and an adjunct master's supervisor at Guizhou Normal University. He is a communication review expert for the National Natural Science Foundation, a key academic member during the 12th Five-Year Plan at Dezhou University, a discipline leader for the 13th Five-Year Plan, and a young talent of the Tianqu Scholar program. Additionally, he is the vice president of the Shandong Astronomical Society, a director of the Shandong Physical Society, and a member of the CAS Information Committee. His research primarily focuses on stellar physics and asteroseismology. To date, he has published over 20 papers in mainstream international SCI journals such as ApJ, AJ, and A&A. He has also led and completed two projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation and two projects funded by the Shandong Natural Science Foundation.
